Pokušaj tipologije obitelji s obzirom na kvalitetu međuljudskih odnosa

A trial of family typology with regard to the quality of interpersonal relations

Socijalna psihijatrija 1991;19:347-58.

In a heterogeneous family group with a schizophrenic patient, the author tries to find the possibility of their differentiation in groups with regard to the relative quality of interpersonal relations. First, by means of the systemic - psychodynamic interview, he constructs the dynamic interpersonal diagnosis for each of 38 families. He is able to locate 7 bipolar characteristics as the basis for the family typology. He distinguishes families with the dominating centrifugal force (heterogenous family type), with the dominating centripetal force (homogenous family type), and so-called mixed family type. It has been shown, as in the literature, that the elementary attribute for the group differentiation or typology is related to the regulation of closeness and distance among subsystems. For each of the family therapists the first task should therefore be to influence the uniformly preserved share of closeness and distance, i. e. of centripetal and centrifugal forces. This task is especially important in the practice of the enlarged therapeutic community formed only apparently by uncompromising heterogenous families.
