Drevni Egipat i Ludwig Wittgenstein: inspiracija i oslobođenje od kartezijanskog duha

Ancient Egypt and Ludwig Wittgenstein: an inspiration and emancipation from Cartesian spirit

Socijalna psihijatrija 1998;26:127-32.

Current flows in psychotherapy originated and raised in atmosphere of universal Cartesian spirit. Author suggests that uncritical intake of principles given by Rene Descartes some three and a half centuries ago can act as a serious handicap in psychotherapeutical activities. Instead, he offers two alternative sources of fresh inspiration. On one hand he proposes everlasting wisdom of ancient Egypt, transmitted to us in the form and through proverbs and sayings. On the other, he introduces thinking of Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein and elaborates implications on psychotherapy raised by his philosophy. If asked a hypothetical question on how does he dare to modify or ground his psychotherapy on these alternatives, his answer would be in form of reverse question: how did we dare to ground it on Cartesian philosophy for all those years?
